News and Notes for Eighteenth Over Austin

The summer is upon us and we all know it! Be sure to stop by and see us for some great cocktails and an excellent wine list, beautiful view and super-blastin' AC...and, of course, the food too!
We are doing chilled soups from time to time, like gazpacho...using summer fruits like peaches in our specials-grilled pork tenderloin with Creole rice, sugar snap peas and fresh peach sauce. But the food could not compete with what Mother Nature was doing the other night...the only night in July to have rain was the night we ran this special and the view of the lightning show from the 18th floor was amazing!
Also, we have a facebook page now, so please check that out and sign up as fans. We have also contracted the domain name www.18thoveraustin.com, so now you do not need to spell out the word...but you should have us saved in your favorites by now anyway, right? Communicate with us and we can grow with you and for you!
The main dining room is booked for private functions on August 1st for The Works of Our Hands Youth Outreach, 4th for National Instruments and the 8th for Quest Diagnostics. We welcome these groups to our restaurant and hotel! The private dining room will be open for all other hotel guests.
Holiday Parties will be upon you before you know it!
We only have a couple of days in December left open, so reserve your space while it is still available!
